Amal Albinali

Amal Albinali is currently working as the chief of strategic planning and projects management department in the Bahrain Space Agency (BSA), representing the agency in high level meetings and in international relationships. Similarly, she has been selected as the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Vice President for Next Generation Activities for the period 2024-2027 and awarded the medal of national service from His Majesty the King of Bahrain in recognition of the BSA teams’ efforts in achieving Bahraini accomplishments. 

She chaired the 6th edition of the International Space Forum at Ministerial Level preparation committee that was hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain and organized under the auspices of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and the Bahrain Space Agency (BSA) and  organized the 1st edition of the Space Forum during the Bahrain International Airshow “BIAS” and the 2nd edition.

She has a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from University of Strathclyde and a bachelor’s degree with excellence from the University of Bahrain (UOB) – Chemistry major, Computer Science minor - in which she achieved Jaber Bin Hayan’s prize for being the best graduate in terms of academic performance and students-related activities. She has worked previously as chief of quality and performance measurement in Civil Service Bureau and standards development supervisor in Ministry of Industry and Commerce where she led project teams, managed two national Technical Committees and represented Kingdom of Bahrain in Gulf Committees’ meetings.

She was a panelist at “Voices of Excellence: Organizations Leading the Way in Diversity” panel during IAF Spring Meetings IDEA DAY (March 2025) and a speaker in different forums and conferences held in cooperation with Bahrain Quality Society, Education and Training Quality Authority and UOB. Additionally, she has published 4 research papers in the fields of strategy, project management and space education.
