Chris Sembroski

Project Execution Manager
Starfish Space

Chris Sembroski is a Project Execution Manager at Starfish Space, where he supports the development and deployment of next-generation satellite servicing and space logistics systems. His work focuses on technical program execution, cross-functional integration, and advancing sustainable operations in Earth orbit.

Chris previously worked at Blue Origin as an avionics test engineer supporting the New Glenn launch vehicle program, contributing to complex integrated test systems and flight hardware validation. Earlier in his career, he served in the United States Air Force maintaining intercontinental ballistic missile systems, building a foundation in high-reliability aerospace operations and electro-mechanical systems.

In 2021, Chris flew to orbit aboard Inspiration4, becoming one of the first citizen astronauts of the modern commercial space era. Since then, he has become an advocate for expanding public participation in spaceflight, STEM education, and the long-term future of humanity in space.

Chris frequently engages with educational institutions, museums, industry events, and nonprofit organizations to inspire broader access to science, engineering, and exploration. Through his technical work and public outreach, he aims to help bridge the gap between emerging commercial space capabilities and the people they are intended to benefit.
