He came to Voyager from Blue Origin where he served as Vice President of Global Sales providing commercial space transportation services aboard the New Shepard & New Glenn launch vehicles. Clay led Arianespace’s U.S. subsidiary for 15 years managing sales, marketing, strategy, communications and government relations activities. He also served as the founding executive director for the Satellite Industry Association, a non-profit alliance of satellite operators, manufacturers, and ground equipment suppliers. In addition, Clay is the President of the International Astronautical Federation, the world’s largest international space organization. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Via Satellite, as a Brooke Owens Fellowship Mentor, and as a Creative Destruction Lab Mentor. Clay is also the founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Future Space Leaders Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the career development of young space and satellite industry professionals.
